Odoo’s apps cover your companies’ work from the quotation to the journal entry. We configure each app for the way the company using it works, and connect it to the others on a single database, so the group’s figures reach the board from one source.

Most holding companies start with accounting, because it is the foundation the other apps rest on, then add inventory, sales and payroll according to each company’s priorities. Wherever you start, the structure stays the same, and each new app is added to what came before, as a brick is added to a wall.

A unified chart of accounts, separate books for every company, the dinar and the dollar in one system, and consolidated reports for the group. It is the base that every other app posts into.

How the apps connect
One sale, entered once, carries through to the group report.
In separate systems the same transaction is typed again in every department. On Odoo it is recorded once, at its source, then each app picks it up from the one before and adds its own part.

The salesperson confirms the quotation, and it becomes a sales order.

Delivery
The delivery order reaches the warehouse, and stock is deducted when the goods leave.
- Invoicing
Invoice
The invoice is created from the delivered quantities, in the customer’s currency.

Collection
The payment is recorded, and reconciled with the invoice and the bank statement.

Journal entry
Entries are posted to the company’s books with every step along the way.

The sale appears in the consolidated income statement in front of the board.

When the nature of your business sets a requirement of its own, we develop it as a separate module that follows Odoo’s architecture, and we document it so that it stays straightforward to maintain and upgrade.
