Codeator was founded in Iraq in 2009. Today we implement, customize and support Odoo for holding companies and multi-entity businesses in Iraq, and we are an independent company within the Sanarise network.

Our story

Fifteen years in Iraq, and a new chapter that began in 2026.

Codeator was founded in Iraq in 2009, with a logo of a cube made of close-fitting blocks, circled by two rings. We work in this market and we know its rhythm: selling in dinars and importing in dollars, branches and warehouses in several governorates, and holding companies that grew one company at a time, each with its own software and spreadsheets.

In 2026, seventeen years after our founding, we redrew our identity with simpler lines and joined the Sanarise network as an independent company within it. The name, the cube and the two rings stayed, and the experience we draw on grew wider.

Today our work has a single focus: implementing, customizing and supporting Odoo for holding companies and multi-entity businesses in Iraq, with separate books for every company and consolidated reports for the group’s board.

Why holding companies

The hardest ERP projects, and the ones that matter most.

Implementing a system for a single company is work with well-known steps. A holding company is several companies with different activities, currencies and teams, and its board expects one reliable figure at the end of every month. That is where the difficulty lies, and that is where the value lies. It is why we chose to specialize in this work.

Separate books, one picture
Every company has its own books, currency and access rights, and the system has to bring them together in an income statement and a balance sheet at group level.
Inter-company transactions
Every sale inside the group is a purchase in a sister company. The two sides must match in the inter-company accounts, and their effect must be eliminated when the consolidated reports are prepared.
Many activities, one roof
Trading and imports, contracting, manufacturing, real estate: each activity has its own workflow, and all of them share common master data and a unified chart of accounts.
A group that keeps growing
A new company is added, or a new branch opens in another governorate. The existing structure in Odoo takes them in, and they enter the group’s consolidated reports.

When the structure is complete, the board sees every company in the group in one picture, and on time.

How we work

Five commitments we bring to every project.

We set them out here in plain language, so you know what to expect from us before we begin.

  1. We understand the group before we touch the system.

    We start by mapping your companies, their currencies, the relationships between them and the reports the board expects. Then we open Odoo.

  2. One company at a time.

    We start with the company that is most ready and settle the structure on it, then add the other companies in the group one after another on the same foundation.

  3. Arabic first.

    The interface, the training and the user guides are in Arabic, with invoices and reports in Arabic and English wherever your company needs them.

  4. We hand over the knowledge with the system.

    We train each company’s team on its daily work, and we document the configuration and everything we developed, so your team runs its system with confidence.

  5. We make clear what Odoo does as standard and what needs development.

    Before any commitment, we separate what standard Odoo configuration covers from what calls for custom development, so you decide with a full picture of the effort involved.

Codeator is an independent company within the Sanarise network.

Sanarise is a network of independent companies that build the digital infrastructure of organizations in the region. Codeator joined it in 2026, and works in Iraq under its own name and with its own team.

From this land

Accounting was born here.

At Uruk, more than 5,000 years ago, scribes counted grain and livestock with marks pressed into tablets of wet clay, and the accounting entry was among the first things ever written on this land. We think of that whenever we open a new set of books for an Iraqi company: the tool has changed from clay to Odoo, and the need is the same: an accurate entry that everyone trusts.
